Overview
Allston is a large section of Boston whose
close proximity to Boston University, Boston College, and convenient bus
transportation to Harvard makes it attractive to many students.

Allston is inhabited by Irish, Italian, Greek, Jewish, Asian,
African-American and Hispanics. This neighborhood houses is a mixture
of blue collar and other ethnic groups as well as large student population.

Allston rent ranges from $1000 to $3000 based on the
size of the apartment. There are also a good number of quality two to
four family houses. As the neighborhood became crowded, two-family houses
and tenements with street side store replaced single-family homes.
Allston City Transportation &
Commuting
Green Line "B" and "C" runs in
Allston. Buses: 51, 57, 64, 65, 66, 86 and 301 services the
