wetlands. Most shopping area is located on Northern
Boulevard and along the Long Island Expressway.

as it has a short 25 minutes commute to Manhattan,
and the beautiful scenery of the Long Island Sound.

has a secluded area which was once a private club
called the Douglaston Manor, this area is filled
with large and exclusive homes. Douglaston is an
upper middle class suburb of New York, and in the
mid 90's it was one of the wealthiest neighborhoods
in the borough.
