Bellerose Overview
Bellerose located adjacent
to Floral Park, was named by Helen Marsh, who was the developer of this area
in the early 1900's. Helen developed a well planned community and was forced
into building her own railroad station as the commuter rail road refused to
stop or build a station there. Most of the shopping and commerce here is
done on Hillside Ave.
