Little Neck Overview
Little Neck is sometimes consider part of Long Island, but it is really located in Queens, New York.  Little Neck is bordered by Long Island Sound which provides a serine setting to reside.  Little Neck is also surrounded by parks and golf course.  Little Neck was originally sought out for the fishing industry of Clams and Oysters.  The water soon became to polluted to fish, so the developers showed up and transformed this fishing town in a modern suburb.  Today almost all commerce is done on Northern Blvd, Little Neck and Marathon Pkwy.

Little Neck Residents & Culture
Little Neck is primarily made up of the ancestry of the settlers which were English, Dutch and Irish. Lately this area has seen influx's of  Italian, Korean, Spanish, and Latin American immigrants.

Most people in Little Neck take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from the Port Washington branch which stops in Little Neck.  Normally, taking the LIRR can have you in Penn Station in 45 minutes. .
