Bellerose
Overview
Bellerose
located adjacent to Floral Park, was named by Helen
Marsh, who was the developer of this area in the early
1900's. Helen developed a well planned community
and was forced into building her own railroad station
as the commuter rail road refused to stop or build
a station there. Most of the shopping and commerce
here is done on Hillside Ave.

Bellerose
was originally settled by English settlers who were
given land by the government. Later on, Bellerose
