Rego Park was named after the Real Good Construction Company. Rego Park is mainly made up of residential houses and apartment buildings, this neighborhood's commercial strips are located along Queens Boulevard, 63rd Drive, 63rd Place, and Eliot Avenue. Rego Park is definitely striving community as a place to reside in Queens, simply because Rego Park is an ideal place for young professionals to commute in to NYC. Rego park also provides an ideal location for the New York Airport transients as its location to both airports is ideal.  Living here is ideal for price and location one draw is six lane intersections at Queens Blvd which is rated as one of America's most dangerous intersections.

Rego Park  Residents & Culture
Rego park main demographic is that of young professionals and starting families. Rego Park has strong base of 25 to 50 year olds. As you get closer to Queens Blvd and the main commercial streets you will see many young professionals living there. Rego Park is home to a large Jewish community, but also very diverse in nature as it is equally divided in homes where the first language is Chinese, Spanish, or Russian.

Most transportation is done via Subway's V and R trains which stop at 63rd Drive. Rego Park is about 30 minutes from Times Square by the subway.
