Upper West Side Overview
If you are looking for art, serenity, majestic views, and family lifestyles, this is the place. With Lincoln Center in its bosom and Times Square just below it, ballet, operas, concerts, & musicals are in the air. As for food, there are restaurants and markets beyond your imagination. And shopping, well, if you've got money left over after you pay rent you will be able to shop till you drop. Sound to good to be true, maybe it is. The rents here seem to be without rational limit.
From the upper 90's to the low 100's expensive housing is mixed in with moderate/low-income residents. From the mid 90's to the 60's, exists a more posh lifestyle because of the expensive brownstones and its convenience to Midtown businesses. |
